•    In 1992, a group of talented musicians from Peru, Bolivia and
  Ecuador joined together with the  desire to express their  nostalgia and
   feelings of longing for their respective homelands.  And with this,
  Raices group was formed.
• As a musical trayectory, Raices group has performed in numerous
  concerts around the New York Regions.  Raices Group has performed in
  medium and large concerts halls such as Avery Fisher Hall, Symphony
  Space Townhall and Carnegie Hall.  In addition,  Raices Group has also
  performed in events such as:
• - 1997,  Raices was part of Queens Council of the Arts,
  presenting music and dance. Video Available. (Current).
• In 1998 We Performed for M.UN.Y. ( Music Under New York)
   on their Special Events  Roster. (Current).
• 1999 We performed of the  H.A.I (Auditions Hospital Audience, Inc) (Current)
• 2000,  “First Night 2001” a concert sponsored by New York Mayor
  Rudolph Giulliani;  at the Theater in the Park in Flushing Meadows Park.
• in 2001. we are part of the Concerts in all Public Libraries of Queens and Brooklyn(Current)

• As our world gets smaller and progresses at a very fast pace, we
   begin to lose our traditional values. Music can bridge the gaps of
  time universally for all people.  The fast pace,  of time today shuts
  many doors on the past and the future. But by us looking back and
  ahead we hope to enrich the present in the Andean Universe.
